HRM Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022
Posted on 11 Sep 2022
Dear Patients,
It is with great sadness that we share our condolences following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. More than a national treasure, she was the backbone of the United Kingdom and a great loss to our country.
Taking to the throne on February 6th 1952, Her Majesty ruled for over 70 years and was the second longest reigning monarch in the world. She was incredibly dedicated to her role and loyal above all else. An icon of our times, she had an excellent work ethic and brightened up the world with her kindness, spirit and her brilliant sense of humour.
It’s impossible to recount all the good our Queen has done for the UK. Her work with over 600 charities helped to provide opportunities for young people, veterans and the homeless. Her charity work also created improvements for areas such as education, health and agriculture. In fact, The Queen did more for charity than any other monarch in history, it’s just one of the ways she set an example for us all.
“Grief is the price we pay for love.”– Queen Elizabeth II
And love her we do, she may no longer be with us, but she will never be forgotten.
Kind regards,
Haden Vale Medical Practice Team
