Screening is offered to all women aged 24.5years and 64years. Women aged 24.5years will received their first invitation by post to ensure they can be screened before they are aged 25 years.
- 25 years – 49 years should be offered screening every 3 years.
- 50 years – 64 years should be offered screening every 5 years.
If a previous result was abnormal you may be called in sooner.
